I did NOT have a good experience personally with pointsbet. I opened my account and I was very excited but also scared by the thought of their points spread betting. With their spread betting you could stand to win or lose $300 using only a $10 stake, if your team one or lost the game by 30+ points.

Because I was scared of the large amounts I could lose but also to test out the site without losing too much I was using taking advantage of some of their promotions which I found quite good, e.g. if in the NBA a certain player scored 30+ points or even x player to get over 8 rebounds you would get your bet back as a bonus bet. I was also placing bets on horse racing to test out and play around on the site.

Obviously, they felt like I was abusing them for promotions (which I agree I did use a lot of promotions but that was because I was still betting mainly on another site and the whole spread betting was new to me).

They banned my account from promotions without even an email letting me know this so on a big racing weekend I placed over $2000 worth of bets on their site in which I should have received $400-500 in bonus bets as refunds for a horse finishing in 2nd place.

I was disgusted that they would just cancel my promotions without notice and I was betting on promotional markets in which I bet $2000 so they still made plenty of money off me regardless of if they paid that out.

During the emails that followed they did not seam to care about my point of view etc and I let them know that they really should let people know that their account is promotionally banned, because in my opinion it is really dodgy to take money on an event that has a promotional aspect and take the bet but not hold up your end.

I understand bookies need to look after themselves but this action and bad customer service in which they never responded to emails mean that I will never use them again.

But I have heard others say the service is good, but in my personal opinion I would be very cautious with points bet.

This was not intended to slander points bet but I want to be as honest as I possibly can with all users of my website and if that means that I make less money etc then so be it but gambling is full of liars and dodgy people but I do not want to be one.

They did have good promotions and an exciting new way to bet but I was disappointed I hope your experiences are different.
